DESIGNER SHOWCASE REVIEW

What a wild ride. Am I glad I did it? Yes. Will I do it again? Never say never!

  1. Fun Memory: Touring the home at the very beginning with my sons, feeling so proud of the opportunity, and just honored to be living a life I love.

  2. Biggest Lesson Learned: Wood trim. The end.

  3. Best Highlight: Finally finishing the room, and having all the loose ends tied up!

  4. Biggest Challenge: The communication for this project was streamlined, but wowza I didn’t realize the value of being able to communicate directly to a homeowner and the contractor until this project. Designers were to communicate through a liaison, and that was such an adjustment for me!

  5. Biggest Regret: This is a tie between the re-selected light fixture and the re-selected tile. As I mentioned before the process was a little atypical for this project and those items I wish I would have taken more time to consider. The client loved it though, so it’s still a win!

  6. That Famous Feeling: I may never be famous, but I did get 5 minutes of fame when a local magazine highlighted the designers in the 2025 Designer Showcase. Check it out here. It was also fun to see people touring through the bathroom and thinking, “I helped make that pretty space happen!”

  7. General Thoughts: In summary, I am thankful for the experience and am so excited to get back to serving my community, in the typical interior design fashion. It was also such a blessing to be pregnant with my daughter throughout the project. I can’t wait to tell her all about it someday.

Have a project in mind? Let’s get started!!
